PRESENTATION
This website brings together documentation about CIRC PERILLÓS (Dangerous Circus) throughout its trajectory from 1981 to 1997. Here you will find a wide-range of information about each one of their shows, including photographs, texts, press releases, video documentation and programmes, which illustrate the creation of Circ Perillós’ own tendency, as well as define a point in time.
Perillós also participated in MIR CARAVAN, an itinerant festival undertaken by eight theatrical companies from both sides of the Berlin Wall. During 1989 Mir Caravan offered their performances during a five month journey from Moscow to Paris as a multi-cultural, nomadic village of more than 200 people in order to show their collective desire to dissolve the forced division between Eastern and Western Europe.

Abbreviated BIOGRAPHY
Circ Perillós was created in 1981 and was touring European festivals for 16 years. In the beginning members of the circus lived, rehearsed and performed in a small circus tent, alternately making use of an outdoor structure for more hectic tours. The circus acts were comic performances by peculiar characters and their unforeseen circumstances.
